Tennessee Walking Horse
Summary: Jackie McConnell, upon many brutal trainers handles these horses. Because
of their humbleness, these horses are known as gentle giants. After an
investigation, the truth arose. Horse trainers are training these horses inhumanely.
They do this by adding harmful substances to the horse’s feet. This makes the
horse walk in an unnatural way. The trainers do this to prepare them for the
competition. Rich horse owners pay trainers such as McConnell to train their horses
just to dominate the competition. This has gotten very out of hand. On the last
competition, all the horses were found with these harmful chemicals in their feet.
Reflection: This is obviously wrong and
it’s not a secret. It makes me angry that the truth is exposed yet they are not
stopped. These cruel trainers shouldn’t be able to even get near these helpless
animals. It makes me angry and upset. Justice has to be served. No animal
should have to go through such a traumatizing experience.
