Jocy.

I am an 11th grader who attends Linda Marquez High School. I am a hard worker at school. I try to be as involved as I can, such as being in part of school clubs. I am also in the school's varsity basketball team. I love basketball, Thai tea, and Italian food. I hope to attend UCLA after graduating high school. I wish to have a successful career as a doctor. I am a very optimistic person. I was blessed with the best people in the world, which i am lucky to call my family and friends. I wish nothing but the best for myself, and i am excited for the future!

Summary/Reflection

Summary

Deb was leading throughout the race. As she reached the finish line, she suffered a critical injury. Jenna Hub was right behind her; she had tried to pass her throughout the race but hadn’t succeeded to. She finally had her opportunity to win the race. Instead of going straight to the finish line, Jenna grabbed Deb and helped her to the finish line. She felt that it was the right thing to do and that Deb deserved to finish the race and finish before her.

Reflection

This is an amazing story that shows great sportsmanship. Jenna instead of winning the race, she helped Deb to it. Jenna did not think about herself only, and wasn’t selfish. She helped Debs because it was right, and she chose the right.
