Jocy.

I am an 11th grader who attends Linda Marquez High School. I am a hard worker at school. I try to be as involved as I can, such as being in part of school clubs. I am also in the school's varsity basketball team. I love basketball, Thai tea, and Italian food. I hope to attend UCLA after graduating high school. I wish to have a successful career as a doctor. I am a very optimistic person. I was blessed with the best people in the world, which i am lucky to call my family and friends. I wish nothing but the best for myself, and i am excited for the future!

Costa Concordia


Costa Concordia

       As the costa Concordia cruised by the Tuscany coast in Italy, it hit a rock. The cruiser was too close to the shore causing this disaster. As the people abandoned the ship, the captain went along with them. He jumped into a life boat as well, leaving many victims in the cruiser. he was then convicted for violating the law. The captain as then charged for causing the disaster and leaving the ship before everyone had evacuated. He was then put on house arrest.

Reflection

The captain obviously chose the wrong. This is a great example of not choosing the right. the captain left the cruiser before complete evacuation. Not only that but he is to blame for this disaster.
